WHAT TO AVOID!!!!! Just the other day, I saw an advertisement on the internet that said "Work from home and earn $1000 per day!!!! No Selling involved!!!". I didn't even bother to click on the ad. $1000 per day? That means you can make $365,000 per year working from home? Does anybody actually believe this? Yes, maybe somewhere, somehow someone actually can make that kind of money BUT I would think that $1000 per day would be the exception, not the rule. It's my belief that if something seems too good to be true than it probably is. I would rather put my time and money into a more realistic business. I am very skeptical of work from home programs that say "just send us $39.99 to get started!". If they really have a good opportunity for you, why are they charging you upfront? How many people send them money, only to never even make back the $39.99? I'm not saying all sites that do this are scam sites, but it does make me very skeptical. But what programs can you believe? How do you know if you're being scammed? One way is to do your research. Find out the history of the business you considering. Is it new? Are there any REAL success stories or is it more of a MLM scam? Ask for references. See if their business plan makes sense. It's been my personal experience that if you have to make money by signing up other people, then there's a real chance that you're not going to succeed. Everyone that I've personally spoke to that has tried the "make money by signing up your friends" programs, has failed. These businesses make money by getting people all hyped up about the money that they can make by getting your friends to sign up. The idea being that new comers to the business will sell to their friends and family. But long term it's not convenient or practical to buy from these businesses, so people eventually give up. In the meantime, the people at the top of the pyramid are the only ones making the big money. Your results may vary - but please proceed with caution.
