Knowledge: Before you start to invest, do your homework. You can learn a lot about a stock by going to the Yahoo Financial section. They give a great breakdown of a companies stock price history, financial status, plus a lot of other useful information.

Stock Broker: I personally don't like the idea of paying a broker. I would rather make my own picks. To buy stocks I use Ameritrade. They have low commissions and a very easy to website.
Trade Currency: It's called the Forex market.
You can make money buying and selling different
currencies.
